At present, fabrication of advanced solid-state electrolytes (SSEs) and assembly of high-performed solid-state batteries are the main research directions. Different types of materials, including polymer-based hybrids, metal-organic frameworks, anti-perovskites, are under investigation and optimization as high-performance SSEs for solid-state batteries.
