Dr. Zhang holds a Ph.D. in Linguistics from the University of Michigan, and an MA in English Language and Literature from Tianjin Normal University, China. She has experience teaching English as a foreign language at the university level in China, as well as teaching Chinese as a foreign language at the university level in the US.
