Dr. Zhang’s research interests include computational optics, computational imaging、phase contrast imaging、high resolution X-ray, electron diffraction microscopy、 Light synthetic aperture radar and remote sensing. He published more than 40 articles, including Nature Communications. During2001-2004, he got Japanese Ministry of Education scholarship. In 2004, he undertook the DFG (Digital Holography in Deep UV) project as a leader, and successfully passed the identification and obtained additional funding for two years. During this period, Dr. Zhang proposed a phase recovery method based on wavefront modulation, which has significant advantages in convergence speed and requirements for experimental conditions. In November 2007, Dr. Zhang participated in research project “ULTIMATE MICROSCOPY: Wavelength – Limited Resolution without High Quality Lenses” Dr. Zhang is responsible for the theoretical and experimental work of visible light. During this period, He invented wave-front modulation imaging technology, applied for EPSRC project, and applied this technology on synchrotron radiation device for the first time. In 2018 He was selected as class B talent of shenzhen.
