Research Assistant Professor. Ph.D., University of Tokyo (Japan). Prior to her current appointment, she was a Postdoctoral Researcher in Tsukuba University (Japan) and an Associate Researcher in University of Glasgow (UK). Her scientific interests are research and applications of interdisciplinary techniques in environmental area, which include single-cell analysis based on microfluidics, development of biosensors based on microfluidics and/or functional microparticles, and detection of aquatic environmental contaminants and microbes. She has been the first author of 10 SCI papers in JCR 1Q journals of different fields (such as Analytical Chemistry, Colloids and Surfaces B-Biointerfaces, Acta Biomaterialia, Applied and Environmental Microbiology, etc.), totally 19 papers, 2 book chapters, and 2 broad patents, with 482 citations and H-index of 12 (Google Scholar).
