Associate Professor Department of Earth and Space Sciences

Dr. Yang is currently an associated professor in the Department of Earth and Space Sciences of SUSTech. He graduated with a Bachelor's Degree from Peking University in 2005 and earned his PhD degree in space physics at Rice University in 2009. He worked as a Postdoc from 2009 to 2011 and then as a research scientist from 2011 to 2018 at Rice. In July 2018, he joined Southern University of Science and Technology. Dr. Yang has published more than 20 refereed journal papers in JGR-Space Physics and GRL. His research interest includes Earth and planetary magnetospheric physics and space weather.

I have multiple vacant positions available at the levels of Research Assistant Professors, Postdoctor, graduate student. These positions remain open.

He graduated with a Bachelor's Degree from Peking University in 2005 and earned his PhD degree in space physics at Rice University in 2009. 研究助理教授招聘

岗位性质:

从事地球与行星磁层的数值模拟,磁层与电离层耦合,极光成因、空间天气研究。做为PI申请科研项目、协助指导研究生研究工作。

招聘要求:

1. 具有空间物理、行星科学等相关专业的博士学位,博士后经历优先;

2. 有独立完成科研工作的能力,在空间物理研究方面有新观点;

3. 有良好的空间物理学和数学理论基础、计算机编程及应用能力;

4. 发表过高质量的英文论文、或申请过省级、国家级基金项目者优先考虑。

岗位待遇:

1. 根据个人科研资历,年薪35万起(含五险一金、享受学校教职工福利);可以参加研究副教授、研究教授评选,年薪可达40万元以上;

2. 享受五险一金、餐补、过节费、免费体检等福利待遇;

3. 可依托本单位申报深圳市、广东省、国家级人才项目;

1、已获得或即将获得空间物理相关领域博士学位

2、有良好的数学物理基础,具有较好的英语读写能力;已发表高水平研究论文,具备较好计算机编程能力或磁层物理研究经验者优先。

岗位待遇:

1、岗位聘期两年(可延长1~2年),年薪约35-40万人民币,其中包括深圳市政府每年生活补助18万元(免税,限前两年);享受五险一金、住房补贴、过节费、餐补等福利待遇;条件优秀者可申请校长卓越奖励计划。

2、学校为每位博士后提供2.5万元的学术交流资助。

3、博士后出站后可申请深圳市的30万元出站科研资助;如果留深工作,符合条件者可获得深圳市高层次人才购房补贴160-200万元;如果成功申请到广东省特支计划再加50万个人补贴;
