Dr. Guixin Li graduated from the Physics Department of Beijing Normal University with the Bachelor and MPhil degrees in 2003 and 2006, and obtained a PhD degree from the Physics Department of Hong Kong Baptist University in 2009. He used to be an Research Assistant Professor at the Hong Kong Baptist University, Visiting Scolar at Imperial College London, Research Fellow at University of Birmingham, UK; University of Paderborn, Germany. Dr. Li is a Professor in Materials Science and Engineering, and Shenzhen Institute for Quantum Science and Engineering. Scince 2016, he is the PI of Photonic Materials and Metamaterials Lab. Research Interests: optical metamaterials, metasurfaces of optical metamaterials, micro-nano optics. Dr. Li has published about 60 research papers in journals such as Nature Materials, Nature Physics, Nature Nanotechnology, Nature Review Materials and so on. Citations: more than 6300 times, of which 9 papers cited more than 100 times. He was granted 5 US patents in the field of optical materials and applied 6 Chinese patents.
