Hui Chen, research assistant professor, received his bachelor's degree in physics from China university of geosciences (Wuhan) in 2009, his master's degree in condensed matter physics from yunnan university in 2012, and his PhD in material physics and chemistry from the state key laboratory of luminescent materials and devices, south China university of technology in 2015.In November 2015, he joined the Feng He research group of chemistry department of SUSTech as a postdoctoral researcher.In July 2018, he was transferred to Academy for Advanced Interdisciplinary Studies of SUSTech as a research assistant professor.

Personal Profile


Research interests are the fabrication of polymer and organic solar cells and the carrier dynamics of devices.The introduction of chlorine atom improves the efficiency and stability of the device, which provides a new idea and method for the design of polymer donor molecules in the future and how to optimize the comprehensive performance of polymer solar cells.By analyzing the dynamic process of the carrier, the macroscopic performance parameters of the device are explained microcosmic.
