Recently, our research has primarily focused on exploring novel quantum states in the higher Bloch bands of optical lattices, resulting in several important experimental advances. Key achievements include: evidence for an atomic chiral superfluid with topological excitations [Nature 596, 227 (2021)]; evidence for quantum stripe ordering in a triangular optical lattice [Phys. Rev. Lett. 131, 226001 (2023)]; observation of brownian motion of a Bose-Einstein condensate [Phys. Rev. Lett. 134, 223402 (2025)]; experimental realization of a high-precision tunable hexagonal optical lattice [Optics Express 30, 44375 (2022)]; realization of 87Rb Bose–Einstein condensates in higher bands of a hexagonal boron-nitride optical lattice [Chinese Phys. Lett. 40 086701 (2023)].
