The First Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Pathogenic Bacteria Symposium
Hosted by Southern University of Science and Technology and co-organized by South China Agricultural University and City University of Hong Kong, the first Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Pathogens Symposium was successfully held at Southern University of Science and Technology from November 8 to November 10, 2019. As an economic development area with the largest number of domestic ports and the largest passenger flow, the Greater Bay Area has frequent internal and external exchanges. The prevention and control of infectious diseases and the spread of drug-resistant bacteria have become major public health issues facing the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. Twenty-six experts and scholars from Guangdong, Hong Kong, Macau and 18 universities and research institutions in the United States gathered in Shenzhen to discuss and discuss the technical problems related to the prevention and treatment of drug-resistant pathogens, infectious diseases in the Greater Bay Area and drug-resistant infections And other major academic issues.
