He mainly studied the thermoelectric materials and topological materials using angle resolved photoemission spectroscopy (ARPES) in Prof. LIU Chang's group from 2014 to 2017. In 2017, He published an article as the first author in Physical Review Letters (PRL). That work posted an argument on the electronic origin of the high thermoelectric performance of SnSe from the perspective of electron structures. During the time he was in Prof. LIU Chang's group, he has been to many synchrotron radiation laboratories in Shanghai, Italy and France. In addition, He participated in the installation of two ARPES systems, one of which is a time- and spin-resolved ARPES system in Nanjing University, which reached the highest time resolution at that time. He graduated in 2017 and went to Prof. Bian Guang's group at The University of Missouri. Now, he is focusing on the research about topological materials and 2D quantum materials using MBE, ARPES, and STM.
