On October 9, 2018, Dr. Xu gave an invited talk at Seismological Society of Japan (SSJ) Fall Meeting 2018, held in Kōriyama, Fukushima Prefecture. In his talk Dr. Xu reviewed how he used multidisciplinary approaches to probe earthquake physics during the past years. This talk was part of the ceremony for the Young Scientist Award of SSJ for the fiscal year 2017.
