Dr. Zhang graduated from Wuhan University with a Bachelor’s degree in Geophysics. In 2014, he received his Ph.D. in Solid Geophysics from the University of Science and Technology of China. He was an assistant researcher in the School of Earth and Space Science at the University of Science and Technology of China. He has led a National Youth Fund project and has served in critical roles of National Natural Science Fund projects as an expert in seismic wave propagation, earthquake dynamics, and earthquake disasters. Finally, he has published more than 30 papers in journals like GRL, GJI, BSSA, and others.
