Wei Qi

2019-07-01

Dr. Wei Qi‘s research focuses on global and regional extreme hydro-climatic events (e.g., drought and flood), their socioeconomic impacts and human adaptation based on novel mathematical approaches, physically-based global biosphere land surface hydrological models, remote sensing, reanalysis and modelled datasets. Additional research interests include snow hydrology, fusion models for ensemble hydrological simulation, water security, hydropower and sustainability. He has published over 10 papers as a first author in top journals of water resources. He serves as a reviewer for several journals, such as Water Resources Research and Journal of Hydrology. His research work has been cited several times by articles published in Nature.
