Associate Professor.Mainly engaged in the theory, method and application research of water environment remote sensing. He has won the Science and Technology Award of the Geographical Society of China - Youth Science and Technology Award, the Young Scientist Award of the China Environmental Science Association, the Li Xiaowen Remote Sensing Scientist Award, and the "Global 2% Top Scientists List" and other honors. He once worked as a postdoctoral fellow in the Ocean School of the University of South Florida, and served as the water environment consultant of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). Presided over 20 national, provincial and ministerial projects and other projects. Nearly 100 SCI papers were published, of which more than half were published in Nature, Nature Geoscience, Nature Communications, Remote Sensing of Environment, Journal of Geophysical Research, Environmental Science&Technology and other journals, and Google Scholar cited more than 4000 times (H-index: 33). The research work has been reported by CCTV, NASA, the International Ocean Color Coordination Working Group (IOCCG), and has also been successfully applied in many relevant domestic departments.
