Linfeng FAN, PhD in Environmental Science at ETH Zurich (Switzerland), MSc in Engineering Geology at the Institute of Geology and Geophysics, Chinese Acedamy of Sciences.  His research interests include: (1) Surface water-groundwater-climate interactions; (2) Water-Food-Energy nexus; (3) Rainfall-induced landslide triggering. He aims to improve the understanding of the water-energy cycles in the Earth system and its relevance to human society. His resaerch tools include mainly numerical models supplemented by field observations and laboratory experiments.
