    By the national natural science fund committee (hereinafter referred to as the "foundation"), and the Chinese people's liberation army academy of military sciences national defense science and technology innovation research institute, Chinese academy of sciences, China academy of space technology, and undertaken by Beijing university of science and technology of the basic theory and key technology research "communion robot" annual academic exchange and 2019 "robot world pageant - communion robot challenge" (in the first stage) in Beijing on May 10-12 ahead China academy of space technology.

 

    The competition follows the three-step concept of "convergence, innovation and creation", with the theme of "human-machine-environment integration", invited well-known experts in the field of robotics to serve as judges, and attracted top robot research teams from Peking University, Shanghai jiaotong university and many other well-known universities to participate in the competition.After the initial evaluation, nearly 100 teammates from 25 teams participated in the challenge, which was divided into two groups. Each team demonstrated their creative achievements through various ways, such as real objects and video, fully demonstrating the achievements of creative ideas and innovative applications of young people in robots.

 

 

     On behalf of the school and the laboratory, Weicong Lin, a 2016 undergraduate student from The Neurorehabilitation Robot Lab, participated in the competition. His entry was: "brain-eye-limb bilateral coordination training model and robot system", with zhang mingming as the instructor.This work aims to integrate eeg signals, eye movement information and force feedback information, to provide the optimal coordination and control strategy for the neural rehabilitation robot system, so that the trainees can get the best rehabilitation effect, and it has a broad application prospect in the field of rehabilitation and professional coordination training.During the competition, the project, which was proposed less than half a year ago, was recognized and praised by the judges for its high novelty, standing out from many top universities in China and winning the best potential award.
