Dr. Jinhui Zhong studied Material Chemistry at Sun Yat-sen University from 2006 to 2010, and received his PhD degree majored at Physical Chemistry in 2016 from Xiamen University. From 2017 to 2022, he did his Postdoc training at University of Oldenburg in Germany supported by Alexander von Humboldt Postdoctoral Fellowship and Carl von Ossietzky Young Researcher Fellowship. He joined the Department of Materials Science and Engineering of Southern University of Science of Technology in Feb. 2022. His research interest is the development and application of advanced spectroscopic methods with ultrahigh spatial and temporal resolution for the study of optoelectronic and catalytic materials, with an aim to understand the structure-function relationship at an atomic and molecular level and femtosecond time scale. His work has been published in journals including Nature Nanotech., Nature Commun., J. Am. Chem. Soc., Angew. Chem. Int. Ed.，ACS Nano, Nano Lett., and Anal. Chem.
