Hamed Mosalam is a postdoctoral researcher at the Shenzhen-Hong Kong Institute of Microelectronics of Southern University of Science and Technology. Dr Hamed received his B.Sc. degree (Hons.) in electronics and communication engineering in 2009. He received his M.Sc. and Ph.D degrees in electronics engineering from Egypt-Japan University of Science and Technology in 2013 and 2016. From 2015 to 2016, he worked as an intern RF circuit design engineer in Analog Devices (ADI). From 2016-2019 He worked as a researcher in the Microelectronics Department at Electronics Research Institute in Cairo, Egypt, focusing in the design of the automotive radar transceiver chip at 77 GHz. From 2019 till present, he is a postdoctoral researcher with Prof. Pan’s research group at Southern University of Science and Technology working in the design of wideband mm-wave power amplifiers. Dr Hamed has long been engaged in the area of mm-wave radio frequency integrated circuit design(RFICs). So far, he published more than 15 paper in international journals and conferences, also, one of his papers has won the IEICE Best Paper Awards for the year 2016. Furthermore, His research interests include RF/mm-wave and ultra wideband circuits and high speed circuit and system design. He also serves as a reviewer for some international journals and conferences in the field of RF integrated circuits.
