张进，南方科技大学计算机科学与工程系副教授，博士生导师。在清华大学电子工程系获得学士学位和硕士学位，在香港科技大学计算机科学与工程系获得博士学位。曾任香港科技大学博士后研究员和研究助理教授。主要从事无线物联网、可穿戴设备、移动计算与健康物联网、医疗大数据、下一代无线网络、网络经济学等方向的研究。在IEEE Communications Magazine, IEEE Transactions on Wireless Communication, IEEE/ACM Mobile Computing, IEEE INFOCOM, IEEE RTSS等国际顶级期刊和会议发表论文七十余篇，其中关于睡眠与压力监测的研究获得了IEEE Globecom 最佳论文奖，关于认知无线网络的研究为IEEExplore当年最受关注的论文（访问量第一）。作为课题负责人承担了国家自然科学基金委、香港研究资助局、香港科技创新署资助的多个项目的研究工作，担任多个顶级国际期刊和会议的编委、学术委员会成员和审稿人。
