Dr. Meizhen Zheng obtained her Ph.D. degree from Sun Yat-Sen University Cancer Center in 2007. Then she achieved well-training in 3D genome mapping technology at Genome Institute of Singapore (GIS) and The Jackson Laboratory for Genomic Medicine (JGM) respectively since 2010. Dr. Zheng joined Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech) as an Assistant Professor in 2019 and focusing on the development of 3D genome mapping technology with single-molecule precision in single nuclei.

 郑梅珍课题组致力于单细胞、单分子水平的3D基因组交互作用的技术开发与应用。我们已经开发了单分子精准的多重染色质交互作用技术(ChIA-Drop, Nature 2019)。接下来将开发单细胞、单分子多重染色质交互作用技术(3Domics)。由于研究需要,课题组现招1-2名博士后,专门进行原创性3Domics技术开发工作。

【博士后薪酬待遇及聘期_南方科技大学】:

  1. 博士后聘期两年。
  2. 博士后年薪33.5万元左右,含广东省补助15万元(税前)及深圳市生活补助6万元(税后),并按深圳市有关规定参加社会保险及住房公积金。博士后福利费参照学校员额内教职工标准发放。
  3. 其它待遇政策(具体参考南方科技大学相关规定):
    3.1 优秀者可以申请校长卓越博士后,年薪可达41.5万元;
    3.2 博士后在站期间享受两年共计2.5万元学术交流经费资助;

Postdoc positions are available in the application and development of 3D genome mapping technology.

 

The Zheng Lab in the Department of Biology, Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech), is recruiting the postdoctoral research fellow with expertise in molecular biology and/or computational genomics. Projects available involve the application of ChIA-Drop technique (Multiplex Chromatin Interaction with Single-molecule Precision) in human disease for chromatin architecture analysis to understand the possible functional role of 3D genome organization.

The laboratory space is located in Sustech’s Department of Biology. We will provide a rich multi-disciplinary training environment in the field of 3D genome, epigenetics, molecular biology, bioinformatics and biostatistics.

 

Candidates are required to hold a PhD, MD, or both.

For Wet-lab candidates, prefer to the enthusiastic and motivated candidates with previous expertise in molecular biology, including not limited some experiences of: 3C/4C/5C/Hi-C, ChIA-PET, ChIP-seq, ATAC-seq, CRISPR, etc.

For dry lab candidates, preference will be given to those who have experience on writing algorithms in python and creating statistical methods.  

We are interested in providing opportunities for postdocs who have cross-train across computational and experimental disciplines.
