教授 电子与电气工程系

叶涛,博士,南方科技大学电子与电气工程系教授。博士生导师,也是卡内基梅隆大学电子与计算机工程系兼职教授。1993年清华大学电子工程系毕业,2003 年获美国斯坦福大学(Stanford)博士学位。

主要研究方向是集成电路,物联网通讯芯片、RFID及传感器件、环境能量自采集,类神经电路及人工智能芯片等。在集成电路,物联网,芯片设计领域有超过二十年的经验,尤其对定制化芯片(Application Specific Integrated Circuit, ASIC), 混合集成电路(Mix-Signal IC)有着丰富的学术界及工业界的经历。曾任职香港五所政府研发中心之一的香港物流及供应链管理技术研发中心(LSCM)技术总监,作为项目负责人及首席科学家(Principal Investigator)领导了多个香港政府创新及科技基金项目,直接获得科研经费总额超过五千万港币。曾参与设计出了世界首款微型低功耗的 RFID 标签芯片以及RFID读写器芯片,把 RFID 和手机移动平台结合,使 RFID 技术最终延伸到用户终端,在产品防伪、认证、支付领域产生巨大市场商机。同时,还积极参与了物联网技术的世界标准及协议的制定及实施过程,首创及开发了多种物联网的关键技术。在工业界及学术界都有深厚的合作经验,曾在Synopsys Inc., Analog Devices Inc., Magma Design Automation Inc., Silicon Architects 及多个硅谷公司担任工程负责及顾问职位,也是中科院,香港大学,香港科技大学的兼职教授及香港科技大学物联网中心的首席科学家。
