Dr. Jiazhen Wu is now an assistant professor in Department of Materials and Engineering at Southern University of Science and Technology. He obtained his bachelor degree from Nankai University in 2010 and Ph.D. from Tohoku University in 2015 (Supervisor: Prof. Katsumi Tanigaki). Then he worked as a postdoc researcher and assistant professor at Materials Research Center for Element Strategy, Tokyo Institute of Technology (Supervisor: Prof. Hideo Hosono). Dr. Wu's main research interests include new inorganic materials exploration, single crystal growth, crystal structure characterization, electrical transport properties, magnetic properties and catalysis. He has published papers on Nature Catalysis, Science Advances, Nature Communications, Advanced Materials, Angewandte Chimie International Edition, etc. And these results have been reported as news on Chemistry World, Tokyo Tech. News, Phys.org etc.
