Dr. Wei Qi‘s research focuses on global and regional extreme hydro-climatic events (e.g., drought and flood), their socioeconomic impacts and human adaptation based on novel mathematical approaches, physically-based global biosphere land surface hydrological models, remote sensing, reanalysis and modelled datasets. Additional research interests include snow hydrology, fusion models for ensemble hydrological simulation, water security, hydropower and sustainability. He has published over 10 papers as a first author in top journals of water resources. He serves as a reviewer for several journals, such as Water Resources Research and Journal of Hydrology. His research work has been cited several times by articles published in Nature.

  • 我校地球与空间科学系与环境科学与工程学院举行羽毛球友谊赛

     9月22日,我校地球与空间科学系与环境科学与工程学院在润杨体育馆举行2019年“羽”你同行-羽毛球友谊赛。 地空系研究生会(筹)联合环境科学与工程学院策划并组织了此次羽毛球友谊赛。两个单位的研究生作为组织者,让已连续举办两年的“地空杯”羽毛球赛“走出”地空系,成为更多师生可以参与的更广阔、更具活力的平台。 本次比赛设立了男子单打、女子单打、男子双打和混合双打等项目,并另外安排了趣味羽毛球比赛项目,促进师生间的互相交流。最终的参赛人员不仅有来自地空系和环境学院,还有来自其他院系的教职工、研究生和本科生。 师生在比赛中 经过淘汰赛和决赛,宋舒昊、高维蔚分别获男单、女单第一名,朱昉/刘澄昱组合获男双第一名,王欣驰/童艳组合获混双第一名。 全部参赛人员和裁判合影     供稿:地球与空间科学系 文字:黄惠婧 编辑:程雯璟

  • 我校环境学院党总支举办中秋茶话会

  • 我校环境学院助理教授冯炼获“第二届中国环境科学学会青年科学家奖”优秀奖

    近日,我校环境科学与工程学院助理教授冯炼荣获“第二届中国环境科学学会青年科学家奖”优秀奖。 “中国环境科学学会青年科学家奖”由中国环境科学学会设立,旨在激励从事环境保护科学技术研究、年龄在40周岁及以下的优秀青年科技工作者。 冯炼在珠江口采样 冯炼博士毕业于武汉大学,于2017年加入南方科技大学环境科学与工程学院,是广东省珠江青年学者。他曾在美国南佛罗里达大学海洋学院从事博士后工作,并担任美国国家海洋和大气管理局(NOAA)水环境顾问,主要从事气候变化和人类活动影响下的海岸带与内陆水环境遥感研究。 冯炼主持或参与国家自然科学基金等科研项目有10多项,发表SCI论文50多篇,其中一半以上刊登在Remote Sensing of Environment,Journal of Geophysical Research, Environmental Science & Technology等顶级期刊,并参与众多学术期刊审稿(>150次)。其研究工作曾被中央电视台、美国NASA、国际海洋水色协调工作组(IOCCG)等报道,也在国内相关部门(中央办公厅、环保部卫星应用中心、中国资源卫星应用中心、江西省地理信息中心等)得到成功应用。他同时担任IEEE Access副主编,以及比利时科技政策办公室对地观测项目,中国国家自然科学基金青年、面上项目评审专家。 据悉,中国环境科学学会于1978年经中国科学技术协会批准成立,是国内成立最早、规模最大、专门从事环境保护事业的全国性、学术性科技社团。作为国家一级学会,中国环境科学学会也是国内环境学科最高学术团体,汇聚了国内环境领域的专家学者和社会知名人士,基本代表了中国环境科学技术领域的最高水平。   投稿:环境科学与工程学院 编辑:程雯璟
