Dr. Ke WU is a research assistant professor and assistant to the dean of the ETH Zurich-SUSTech Institute of Risk Analysis, Prediction and Management (Risks-X). In 2018, he received a Ph.D. in quantitative finance from ETH Zurich, supervised by Prof. Didier Sornette, and supported by the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation Programme under the Marie Sklodowska-Curie grant. His main research interests include quantitative trading strategies, financial bubble analysis and prediction, and extreme risks in complex systems. He won the National Award for Outstanding Self-Financed Chinese Students Studying Abroad in 2018. Dr. Wu is also the co-founder and Secretary-General of the Swiss-Sino Innovation Center. He owns a master degree in mathematical finance from Columbia University in New York, a double bachelor degree in economics from Peking University, and a bachelor degree in mathematics from Beijing Normal University.
