Personal Profile

Dr. Haiyun Shi currently holds the position of Associate Professor in School of Environmental Science & Engineering at Southern University of Science and Technology, Shenzhen, China. He got his Ph.D. degree at Tsinghua University, Beijing, China. His research interests include digital watershed, hydroinformatics, climate change, hydrological extremes (floods and droughts), and sustainable development. He has been the PI/Co-PI of more than 10 research projects. He has published over 20 journal papers and 3 book chapters. He was invited as the reviewer of over 30 international journals, including Water Resources Research, Journal of Hydrology and Geophysical Research Letters.
