Assistant Professor School of Sciences

Dr. Li Xinxin received her Ph.D. in chemical oceanography from Texas A&M University in 2013. She mainly uses biomarkers and other methods to study the bio-organic geochemical processes of the carbon cycle in the estuary delta and offshore ocean areas, and their interactions with ocean eutrophication, anoxic effects, and global climate change. She is a member of the American Geophysical Union (AGU) and the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS). She has published 15 papers and an international seawater nutrition standard report (72 authors) in marine science journals Marine Chemistry, JGR-Biogeosciences, Geochimica et Cosmochimica Acta, cited 400 Times (updated October 2019).
