Dr. Hailong Li’s research interests mainly focus on the numerical modeling of coastal groundwater and its implications on environment and ecology.He has published about 160 papers, carried out more than 20 research projects and owned 5 patents.He was principal investigator for 10 research projects and is at present working on 2 key programs founded by China governments.He serves as associate editor of Hydrogeology Journal, Official Journal of the International Association of Hydrogeologists (IAH), from January 2012.He was selected as a member for professional societies, including Editorial Board of Science China Earth Science (From Jan. 2013 to 2017), American Geophysical Union (AGU), European Geophysical Union (EGU), Editorial Board of Journal of Biomathematics (An English-Chinese journal), International Association of Hydrologists (IAH), American Society of Civil Engineering (ASCE).He is a reviewer for Water Resources Research, Advances in Water Resources, Ground Water, Hydrogeology Journal, Environmental Fluid Mechanics, Hydrological Processes, ASCE Journal of Hydrologic Engineering, Water Resources Management, Limnology & Oceanography. He was awarded as Excellent Reviewer in the year of 2018 for the journal Geochimica et Cosmochimica Acta and Excellent Reviewer in the year of 2013 、2014 for the journal Advances in Water Resources.
