Dr. Lele Duan is currently an associate professor at the Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech) since 2017. He received his Ph.D. degree under the supervision of Professor Licheng Sun at KTH in 2011 and then started his postdoctoral career in the same group. During this period, he studied water oxidation reaction. Later in 2013, he joined in the Etsuko Fujita group at Brookhaven National Laboratory, working on the carbon dioxide reduction chemistry. He was appoined as an assistant professor at KTH Royal Institute of Technology from the August, 2015 till 2017. His current research focuses on the development of artificial photosynthetic systems for fuel production.
1. The second coordination sphere effect on the electrochemcial reduction reaction of carbon dioxide.
2. New graphyne/graphdiyne materials for energy conversion.
