Ning Chengqing received his BS from Jiangxi University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 2008. After that, he moved to Xiangya School of Pharmaceutical Science of Central South University for further studies, where he received his PhD in 2015. During this period, he was engaged in novel small molecule drug discovery and medicinal chemistry research. He joined Xujing group at the Southern University of Science and Technology from 2015 to 2017 to pursue postdoctoral research, which mainly focused on natural product modification and their neuroprotective activities studies. In 2018, he joined SUSTech Academy for Advanced Interdisciplinary Studies where he is currently a Research Assistant Professor. His research interests include natural product modification and drug discovery.
