Personal Profile

Dr. Meng Fanyu serves as a Research Assitant Professor in the Academy for Advanced Interdisciplinary Studeis of SUSTECH, focusing on risk assesment and emergency management for public safety. Dr. Meng  acquired his Ph.D. from the Dept. of Civil Engineering, The University of Hong Kong in 2018, where he conducted his majority of research regarding road safety. His expertise includes but is not limited crash risk prediction, crash frequency analysis, crash/injury severity space-time modeling, driving behavior analysis, driving simulator experiments, etc.
