Qin Li got his B.S. degree from University of Science and Technology in China in 2005, and Ph.D. degree from UC Berkeley in 2011. His main research interest is BV quantization and application in geometry and topology. He became an Assistant Professor in SUSTech from 2015.

Qin Li has been applying the method of BV quantization in sigma models and obtained several important results. The paper “Batalin-Vilkovisky quantization and the algebraic index” won the Best Paper Award of ICCM in 2018.
