Dr. Xiaolong Chen, obtained his bachelor degree from Special Glass of Gifted Young, University of Science and Technology of China in 2010, and PhD degree from Physics Department, the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology in 2014. Then Dr. Chen carried out his Postdoctoral researcher position in Electrical Engineering Department the University of Cambridge and Yale University, respectively. In September 2018, Dr. Chen joined the Department of Electronic and Electrical Engineering, Sustech, as an assistant professor. Dr. Chen has done leading research works on two-dimensional materials based electronic and optoelectronic devices, including black phosphorus, graphene and transition-metal dichalcogenides, which has been cited over 1000 times. His H-index is 16.
