Prof. CHEN Rui’s main research areas including laser spectroscopy, investigation of the optical properties of materials, optical microcavity and micro/nano laser, etc. Prof. CHEN Rui has published more than 200 papers in world leading journals like Advanced Materials, Nano Letters, Small, Applied Physics Letters, and 25 of the papers were selected as the cover page. From SCI data base, his publications have been cited for over 7500 times with an h-index of 50. Currently, he is the PI and collaborator for more than 10 research programs.

Prof. CHEN Rui’s main research areas including laser spectroscopy, investigation of the optical properties of materials, optical microcavity and micro/nano laser, etc. In 2005, he graduated from the Physics Department of Xiamen University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics. He received his Ph.D. degree from Nanyang Technological University in Singapore and his Ph.D. in engineering from Xiamen University, majoring in applied physics and microelectronics and solid state electronics. In 2012, he won the “Gold Medal forBest PhD Thesis in Physics” and Institute of Physics Singapore (IPS) Outstanding Poster Award. Prof. CHEN Rui has published more than 200 papers in world leading journals like Advanced Materials, Nano Letters, Small, Applied Physics Letters, and 25 of the papers were selected as the cover page. Those who have published high-level articles in international level publications in relevant professional fields or have overseas research experience are preferred.
